by Roger Williams (#1 on Billboard Charts), Steve Allen,
Mitch Miller, Jackie Gleason, Victor Young, and The
Ray Charles Singers. The 1945 French song "Les
feuilles mortes" (literally "The Dead Leaves")
had a pretty good run, considering it was competing
with that new Rock and Roll music! |
