1963's Hit Music & Song Charts
1963's Biggest Artists, Albums and Songs
Buy It! Robert Goulet (1962's Best New Artist Grammy Winner, awarded in 1963)
The Broadway star was the first to open the "Grammy New Artist" Curse. He did end up having My Love, Fogive Me crack Billboard's Top 20 in 1965, and had a successful stage and acting career, but he never really became a popular music star. He earned the New Artist Grammy for his Signature Sing, What Kind of Fool Am I.
Buy It! Vaughn Meader (Grammy for Album of the Year)
Vaughn's best-selling album, The First Family, spoofed life in the Camelot Whitehouse, but after JFK's assassination, sales plummeted, and his impression of the late President was no longer in demand. Although a pioneer in the celebrity impersonation field, he career struggled until his death in 2004.
Buy It! I Left My Heart In San Francisco - Tony Bennett (Grammy for Record of the Year)
Tony also won a Grammy three decades later, in 1995 for MTV Unplugged.

Annual Best Music Hits Here !
One Hit Wonders include artists with only one song in Billboard's Top 40 Pop Charts,
songs of note and well-known hits that did not even make the Billboard Pop Charts.
Hot Pop Songs/PCM Charts are based on DJ requests and online suggestions.
Some songs are listed in multiple years because some charts list the
'release date' as the official date, while others list the chart 'peak date.'
Compromising that data, we try to list songs for the year they saw the most chart action.

Hot Pop Songs.com is part of the Pop Culture Madness Network, your complete online trivia resource.

Our motto: "All The Pop Culture News That Fits, We Print!" We are adding more information daily. Well, semi - regularly. If you don't see a link for what you're looking for, then it's your responsibility to write something up, and send it in.
Everything else © copyright 1999 - 2013 Pop Culture Madness, unless stated otherwise.

By the way, The PCM Network does NOT allow frequent Pop up ads, Pop under ads, or sneaky spyware. Nor do we link to sites that have excessive Pop - ups, spyware or inappropriate (all ages) material. If you find one, please let us know and they are toast!
Also, since we don't "sell out" to those Pop - up advertisers, and we're too proud (so far) to ask for donations, we'd like to proudly point out some of our carefully chosen advertisers throughout the site. They have some cool stuff that should be sitting in your room, or wrapped like a present for a friend.
Please check 'em out!
